Dreams. Big ones, small ones, great ones, and not so great - There seems to be a hidden gateway that only a few have the key to. And even for them the gateway to unlimited possibilities can come down even harder. Holding on to dreams is like walking a tightrope over the gates of hell, the last thing you would want think of is letting go.
But letting go is the key. Not loosing site of your dreams- a tightrope walker gains site when letting go of the world around them. The focus becomes pinpoint exact and even hells gates holds no boundaries. This is the kind of focus that allows for intuition to speak.
Intuition is the doorman to the land of Oz - the giant gateway to infinite possibilities. It laughs maniacally and will slam the giant emerald crystal gate SMACK down on your fingers to teach you a lesson. It gives no credence to excuses of deafness, because it is itself the essence of silence. You will never guess the password with your mouth open.
The intuition KNOWS this. Laughs some more, cauterizing the gate to REALLY show you.
Who really is this ghastly little munchkin, and what does he look like when the cloak is off? Asking yourself these questions can turn the tables and invite the most loving and longing to be with you, spoil you with joy and surprises little inner child that you can possibly imagine.
And then, He’ll TOP that.
Following intuition is never wrong. Although decisions to do so can be like hovering over the edge of a gigantic roller coaster. At the time it seems unbelievably frightening. But hold on for the ride.
Should we decide that our intuition is wrong, the heaviness of that gate slamming down behind our backs is almost palatable.
We’ve all experienced the lockout. The last few years have produced some major hurdles and heartbreak. It feels as though we’re locked out of opportunity’s gates and our slobber and tears have our face frozen to the emerald crystal palace. The warm light from inside seems so far away, as muffled screams just echo right up the nasal cavity, singing sweet songs of self pity and draining all that snot to secure an even stronger bond to the wall(owing).
And the doorman laughs.
He KNOWS better. He already has a cup of warm cocoa made just the way you like it. He’s just waiting for you to let go.
We get hung up on so much. Our minds won’t shut up about it. So many of us want so badly to see through the situation we’re in without letting go.
I’d like to share some notes that I took, just today, while in a business/ life/ destiny/intellectual/otherworldly coaching session. The night before this I was working on some product design and having fun putting “Intuition changes EVERYTHING”- a favorite painting- on a coffee mug.
It’s been an absolute honor to work with my coach Bradley, better known as Great Awake Coach. The doorman introduced us. What I have learned from him I will carry with me over lifetimes. You’re welcome ahead of time for this link to his substack.
I feel these little excerpts are very pertinent to this topic, and the doorman’s telling me to share:
USE THE TIME LIKE THE GOLD IT IS. Spend wisely.
Do your BEST as if God himself is watching every move… He IS.
Never rely on anyone more than your own inner guidance.
Within is where God LIVES.
Be the Zen Master -
“I see…” - is a story of a monk who lost everything to raise the child he was criticized for fathering, only to return him to the family with love when the truth was found that the mother had lied. He had been put through hell because a teenager didn’t want to tell her parents who the real father was. She blamed it on the monk, who upon hearing this simply answered, “I see…”
He didn’t own right or wrong but saw straight through the menacing remarks, scything glances and eventual exorcism from his practice.
When they demanded he take the child, He smiled and answered, “I see…”
And when they came to retrieve the nurtured and cared for toddler and told the monk that the father was the kid down the street, again he answered … “I see…”
When they asked why he didn’t defend himself and fight for his rights, he told them.
It was because No amount of blame or arguing that would have ensued would have done the innocent life of the child any good.
Find the higher purpose in everything you do.
EVERYONE gets those intuitive moments, it’s what you ask yourself after the fact that truly matters.
Take Responsibility and ride it like the horse it is - it will take you places.
Show God how bad you want it. Then, ask yourself- What are you going to do with it?DO THAT. Now.
Everything is designed to suck you dry. BE well water - silent and natural, under the radar.
Looking for answers outside yourself will always be disappointing.
Be in AWE of EVERYTHING.
There is an infinite pool of joy to dive into- it becomes harder to feel with a giant bloodsucking mosquito brain getting fat on eating up that precious time.
We can suck ourselves dry with self criticism, shame, blame and all that comes with closing the door to our intuition.
OR - we can just keep swimming.
Here is the painting and the writing I made for the mug last night. Forgive yourself, and love that child within you. It’s about damn time.

Warm your soul with this beautiful reminder to listen intently from within. This little red riding hood painting is about the sixth sense- the Nostradamus inside our own genius mind that warns us before entering into the "deep dark woods". In this painting the butterfly is acting as her guardian angel; popping the bubble to reveal an apparition of the big bad wolf and hopefully touching a side of her intuition that spurs the conscience to follow a new path.
